From being a graphic designer to a multimedia designer, Kahgiap then entered the journey of a Cinematography. This passion had earned him 16 years of experience in the advertising industry.
These years had given him the opportunity to film in many different countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, India, Turkey, Finland, New Zealand, Australia and etc with the highest record of filming in 29 different cities in a year.
In these 2 years, His works had gained recognition and received several awards; these includes 2016 Malaysia BMW Top10 Shorties, 2017 Singapore Apollo Best Shortfilm and 2017 China Great-wall Advertising Award. In 2018, Kahgiap was listed as one of the outstanding creators of the Chinese Advertising Platform, “Xin Pian Chang”.
Today, Kahgiap is based in Shanghai, China as an advertising Cinematographer and Director.
